Adoption Policy

I used to attempt to keep all of the dogs that are available for adoption, posted to the website for viewing.   But, in all of the work that it takes to COORDINATE THE RESCUE, REHABILITATE, VET, TRAIN, FEED, CLEAN UP AFTER, and GROOM all of these dogs, the updating of the website became a very low priority.  In addition, it is my policy to evaluate the family and home of the people interested in adopting, really get to the heart of what their NEEDS, WANTS and EXPECTATIONS are from their new dog, and then, match up the personality, abilities and needs of the dog.   In really getting to the heart of those qualities, I feel I have a much greater success in the adoptions being permanent, rather than just allowing people to "LOOK AT ALL OF THE DOGS AND PICK ONE".   I've NEVER done it that way, and refuse dogs to people if I don't feel they can provide an environment that will be suitable for that particular dog.
